We only use your provided image to match names to faces and do not require any sort of professional headshot. However, Cornell Career Services has a Profile Picture Kiosk available for all students if needed. Information is available here.

Coffee Chats

WHAT IS A COFFEE CHAT?

A “coffee chat” is an informal conversation with a brother to learn more about KAPi and that brother’s interest in the law and extracurricular involvements. We highly encourage any potential new members to reach out for a coffee chat before recruitment begins. Coffee chats are not required for recruitment but are helpful. Brothers are extremely busy and a coffee chat email does not guarantee a response. If a brother does not reach back, feel free to coffee chat a different brother.

HOW DO I COFFEE CHAT?

To help with reaching out for coffee chats, we have compiled a document with some components of a coffee chat email for guidance. To reach out for a coffee chat, you can email a brother through the contact information found on the Brothers Tab or fill out our Coffee Chat Match Request Form to pair you with a brother based on the information you input.
