Avery is a senior from Montgomery County, MD studying English and media studies. As a Humanities Scholar, she also researches dance and performance studies. She is interested in media, entertainment, and First Amendment law, and has spent her last two summers interning with CNN. On campus, she writes for The Sun, and has done a lot of political science research. If she's not in Libe with Maria writing her thesis this year, she's probably dancing in Schwartz, calling Michaela, or rewatching The Newsroom.
