Hi everyone! I'm a junior studying Economics, Government, and American Studies, with minors in Public Policy and Law and Society, here at Cornell. Law and advocacy have shaped a lot of what I do outside the classroom. I've worked as a paralegal and interpreter on immigration cases in NYC and Ithaca, helping prepare petition packages and translate testimony for clients. This past summer, I also had the incredible opportunity to work as a Visiting Instructor and Research Fellow with SAIPAR in Zambia, where I co-authored research on gender representation in parliament and taught my own course on democratic erosion at the University of Zambia. On campus, I'm also involved with the Brooks School Policy Advocacy Clinic and the Gender Equity and Resource Center, and I love finding ways to connect legal advocacy with community impact. I've had the privilege of serving as Social Chair for the past two years, and it's been such a fun and rewarding part of my time in this fraternity. Now, I'm beyond excited to take on the role of New Member Educator! A little bit about me outside of all that: my go-to order is an iced coffee from Playa Bowls, and if you ever need a movie recommendation, my answer is always The Lorax, no notes it's perfect.
