Hansa Suresh

She/Her

Hansa is a sophomore from Saddle River, NJ, studying Industrial and Labor Relations with minors in Applied Economics and Law & Society. She is passionate about sports law, with a particular interest in salary arbitration, collective bargaining, and the intersection of labor relations and professional athletics.

On campus, Hansa is the Founder and President of the Cornell Undergraduate Sports & Entertainment Law Society, President of Key Elements A Cappella, and a Staff Writer for the Cornell Undergraduate Law & Society Review. She also serves as a Sports Law & Policy Analyst for the Cornell Sports Research Conference and as a Research Assistant for the ILR School’s Worker Institute. During MLB’s most recent salary arbitration cycle, she worked on club-side arbitration matters at Proskauer Rose LLP.

In her free time, you might find her scouting out the best coffee in Collegetown, watching college football (go Buckeyes!), or trying to maintain her NYT Games streak.
