Chinaza Politis

Chinaza is a senior from Las Vegas, Nevada in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations. She is interested in financial services and M&A law. She has previously been involved in the Cornell Speech and Debate Society and the ILR BSU. Currently, she serves as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Cornell Undergraduate Law & Society Review, works as an ILR Peer Mentor and CIW Ambassador, and is the Convocation Chair for the Class of 2026. While in college she has worked as a remote assistant for the Director of Human Resources at eCornell, was a High Road fellow participating in the Democracy Fellowship working under New York State Senator Sean Ryan, was an Investment Banking Legal Intern at Jefferies, spent a semester interning with Akin as part of the Cornell in Washington Program, and was an M&A intern with Tokio Marine HCC’s Transaction Risk Insurance group. She enjoys exploring new music genres, cooking, and baking in her free time.
